In October 2014 Quest Taekwondo hosted it’s first Open Championships in Sheffield since Chief Instructor, Mike McKenzie, returned from his role in the 2012 Olympic Games.

Our team have just returned from a very successful trip to the British International Open Competition in Aylesbury. The day saw 8 of our players compete and we came home happy with 8 medals.
Quest Taekwondo training does meet the physiological needs of competition - It’s been proven!
2012 Olympic Gold medalist Jade Jones, visited Quest Taekwondo at our Penistone venue on Saturday. The Taekwondo star, who has gained much notoriety since winning Olympic Gold at the age of 19 and subsequently being awarded an MBE in 2013, spent the day coaching Taekwondo athletes of the future.
Once again Quest Taekwondo had the privilege of welcoming Sarah Stevenson to conduct a Sparring focused seminar - this time hosted by Quest Liverpool.
This year Quest Taekwondo took a strong team of 18 to the British National Championships 2014, which were held at Manchester Velodrome on the 20th and 21st of September.
Last Saturday Quest Taekwondo put on a Community Games event at the local Penistone Grammar School Sports Facility.
Quest took a team to compete at the Austrian Open on the 31st May/1st June. Significantly cheaper flights, and the opportunity for a bit of team rest and relaxation, gave us the opportunity to travel out early Wednesday morning.
Quest athletes Megan Featherstone, Jacob Barnett and Natasha Burdock performed well at the WTF G2 Dutch Open Taekwondo Championships.
On the weekend of 7th/8th December Quest Taekwondo took a small team of athletes to the 28th International Park Cup.
