Great things can be achieved through the
inspiration and power of sport ...

Congratulations to the UK's Youngest Ever Female 5th Dan and a 100% Pass Rate for Quest's New Black Belts

On the weekend of the 9th November, over 220 Taekwondo Black Belt hopefuls filled a very busy Nottingham venue.  We are very pleased to say that all Quest members passed their grading.  Firstly mother and son, Mandy and Jason Mann from Quest Bradford proudly achieved their Black Belts together.  Also from Quest Bradford,  Michael Lokuciejewski-Taylor sailed through his examination.  Around this time last year, Mike McKenzie wrote about Michael on the Quest website following his successful promotion to 1st Kup Red/Black belt.   Michael's achievement is notable due to the fact that he is profoundly deaf which has implications on all aspects of his training.  Quest Bradford Instructor, Karl Mann, has helped Michael with additional training, but it is Michael's hard work and determination to succeed that has ultimately led to his success.

And finally, congratulations to the UK's youngest ever female 5th Dan, Master Laura Holness.  Laura established, and is the lead Instructor for, the Quest Hull venue which will celebrate its first year anniversary in January.  All this at just 22 years of age is a remarkable achievement and we are all very proud of her.  We know we'll see great things from Hull students in the future, and we know Quest Hull will go from strength to strength with each passing year.

Well done everyone ....
