The Quest Games 2024

The Quest Games took place in aid of cashforkids Sport Challenge on Saturday 12th October at the Quest Taekwondo Centre.

The competition was in 3 areas Sparring, Patterns and Fitness. For each event the participant was awarded a score 1-10.

Each participant was allocated a team colour and wore a Yellow, Blue or Red wristband, with scores recorded on the wristband for each competition area. Each individual's score was added to their teams score. The TEAM with the most points was given a Gold medal, second Silver and third Bronze.

There was also three prizes on the day for most money raised. These were won by Joshua, Raegan and Abel.

The Games as well as being a fundraiser is also a good way to introduce Quest members to competition, working in groups and performing in front of others. Some of the young members were quite intimidated at first but with encouragement and support they all successfully participated and enjoyed themselves.

The youth Black belt members acted as team captains and ran the competition areas. They set a great example to their younger clubmates.

Combined with other events Quest raised a total of £4000 to Cash for Kids!
