Quest Team Trials

Quest Taekwondo is a world famous Olympic club. Last year Quest member Caden Cunningham took Silver at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games the most prestigious event in Taekwondo Competition.

Since 2014 Quest Taekwondo has had seven Athletes represent Great Britain. Jacob Barnett, Aaliyah Powell and Caden Cunningham all graduated to the World Class Performance Programme in Manchester.

Some notable achievements:

  • Caden Grand Prix Champion, European Champion, Olympic Silver
  • Aaliyah, Junior World Champion, Snr. World Champion semi finalist x 4, Cadet and Junior European Medalist Grand Prix medalist, European Silver medalist 2024
  • Alex Foster, Cadet and Junior Silver medalist.

Competition Pathways

There is a pathway and progression to competitions. This starts with the Club Pathway and can progress to Country pathway.

Club Pathway

  1. Sport Specific classes
  2. 1-1 competitions (where appropriate)
  3. Open Championships in UK
  4. International Open Championships
  5. G1/E1 events (Global/European)

Our own Henry Hunter won Bronze medals at the G1/E1 Polish Open and Bosnian Open in 2024.

Country Pathway

  1. European Championships – Cadet/Junior/U-21/Senior
  2. World Championships – Cadet/Junior/Senior
  3. Grand Prix - Senior
  4. Olympic Games – Senior

Cadet = U-14
Junior = U-18
Senior = 16+
Team Trials

This session is open to all ages and grades for anybody who is interested in participating in competitions at any level.

10:00am: Welcome and Introduction - Parents will be required to stay 20mins and are welcome to stay the full session and will be allowed full access into the hall.
10:20am: Group assignment warm up and stretch.
10:45am - Noon: matches and sparring drills.

£10 fee will be payable for members not on unlimited session payments.
